TEData Meter

The Problem

Last month i faced a problem with my TEData quota limit and the speed downgraded to 512kb, because i didn’t get any updates about my current quota in real-time.

So currently to check your TEData quota you need to access TEData Website and this is not real-time solution and soon or later you will forget to access it periodically. so visiting the website is not a efficient solution.

So i built my tool “TEData Meter” and decided to publish it for free.

TEData Meter

TEData Meter is a simple & neat tool to do the donkey work for you and keep you updated about your current Quota in real-time on your PC without need to visit TEData website.

Simply the tool access TEData APIs every 10 minutes to fetch your data offline on your PC and notify you about any change.

[Windows] Convert Tableau Trial Version To Full Version .

I joined a new company in the field of Business Intelligence for 2 weeks until the date of this post. 😉 i was new in this field and i was trying to understand how things work in this interesting field.

The first thing i learned in the company is the applications used in that domain of work.

This applications were

  1. Tableau Desktop
  2. SAS

i liked Tableau very much but the problem was the software is not free and it’s trial version only last for 14 days. and i tried to search for crack or serials on internet to convert it to full version without any success 😥 . and i found that they give license only for academic uses only, and they don’t provide a non-commercial license with more general scope for the non-student guys to learn the software 👿 .

VMWare NAT Server Lag Solution (Windows)

In the last few months, my internet server connection was too bad and i was getting disconnect from it and after while the connection is getting back and internet too but the NAT Server don’t sense that and the Virtual Machines don’t get any internet connection, i tried to ping Google from the Virtual Machines and the same problem, no results and the only solution is to restart my pc to fix this problem.

But at last i found the solution to this problem without restarting your PC, just restart the NAT Service from Services Manager in Windows.

  • Goto Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services.
  • At Services Manager Search for “VMware NAT Service” and Restart It.

That’s it and all connection will be restored in your Virtual Machines without Restarting your PC.
